BBC warns TV reporters about epilepsy risks

The BBC has issued a fresh reminder to TV journalists about the use of flashing lights in reports, following an upheld complaint about its coverage of Prince William's engagement to Kate Middleton that could potentially have caused an epileptic seizure.
The broadcaster apologised for failing to warn viewers about flashing images in its a News at Ten report on the day of the royal wedding announcement, last November, which featured footage from the couple's photo call at St James's Palace.
