Reported Cases Of ADHD Up 22% In 4 Years

MYFOXNY.COM - Almost 10% of all children in the United States were diagnosed with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the latest numbers provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
That is a 22% increase between 2003 and 2007. 2.7 million children are now taking ADHD medications.
ADHD is the most common neurobehavioral disorder of childhood, and often persists into adulthood. Children with ADHD have trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors and, in some cases, are overly active.
