Heal Your Sleep for Life

Sleep problems in women are as common as they are complex. Medicine is just beginning to uncover the significance of disordered sleep in the health of women.

Who is at risk? According to the National Sleep Foundations’s 2007 Sleep in America Poll, 67% of women frequently experience a sleep problem. 74% of “stay-at-home” mothers; and 72% of working mothers experience insomnia. Overall, 43% of women report that daytime sleepiness interferes with daytime activities. 37% drink more than one caffeinated beverage per day. About 27% drive drowsy at least once per month and 10 % of this group did so with a child passenger!
