About the Scholarship:

Project Sleep’s Jack & Julie Narcolepsy Scholarship is the first-ever national narcolepsy scholarship program to support students with narcolepsy while also fostering awareness in high school and college settings. Founded by Julie Flygare and the Graham Family in 2014, the Jack & Julie Narcolepsy Scholarship has awarded eleven scholarships in just two years.

What is Narcolepsy?

Narcolepsy is a serious neurological disorder of the sleep/wake cycle affecting about 1 in 2,000 people worldwide, including many children and young adults. Due to lack of awareness in medical communities and society at large, narcolepsy is extremely under-recognized and misunderstood. Patients often suffer symptoms for 3 to 15 years before receiving proper diagnosis and treatment. Learn more.

2016 Application:

In 2016, Project Sleep will award five scholarships of $1,000 each to high school seniors who will attend a four-year university and who exemplify courage and hope while living with narcolepsy.
